What is the temperature range of your ice baths, and can they produce ice?
Our ice baths can reach temperatures as low as 0°C / 32°F and have the ability to generate ice.
How is the water in your ice baths filtered and cleaned?
Our fjord ice baths are equipped with a 50sqft (largest in class) removable and easy-to-clean 50-micron filter. We recommend cleaning the filter weekly for commercial use and every 4 weeks for domestic use.
How often should I change the water in the ice bath?
For residential ice baths, we recommend changing the water every 3-5 months, while for commercial ice baths, we recommend monthly water changes. Regular water changes help maintain hygiene and ensure a refreshing ice bath experience.
What materials are your ice baths made of?
Our ice baths are constructed using a combination of 316 stainless steel and powder-coated aluminium. These materials ensure durability and withstand frequent use in various weather conditions.
Do your ice baths come with a cover?
Yes, all our ice baths come with an Australian-made insulated spa cover. These covers provide insulation for temperature maintenance and have a lockable feature.
Customization & Upgrades:
What aspects of the ice bath can I customise?
We provide a range of customization options. While our ice baths come in standard colours, you can fully customise the base colour, battens, cover, and non-slip flooring for an additional fee.
Can I have my custom logo on the ice bath?
Certainly! We offer the option to incorporate your custom logo onto the non-slip flooring of the ice bath, allowing for personalisation or brand promotion during cold exposure therapy.
Setup:
Does the ice bath require installation?
Our ice baths are designed for plug and plunge installation. Only a standard electrical outlet is needed to get started. No plumbing is required, making installation hassle-free. Detailed instructions will be provided to guide you through the setup process.
Can the ice bath be placed indoors or outdoors?
Our ice baths can be placed both indoors and outdoors. However, we recommend positioning them under cover and away from direct sunlight. While the ice baths are water-resistant, they are not fully waterproof.
What is the recommended placement for the ice bath?
For optimal usage, we recommend placing your ice bath in a well-ventilated area with a sturdy structural foundation. Adequate drainage should also be considered to prevent water accumulation, ensuring a safe and enjoyable ice bath experience.
Ordering:
What is the process for ordering an ice bath?
Order in our online store where a minimum 50% deposit is required, once the bath is completed and ready for shipping the remaining amount including shipping and handling will be invoiced and once payment has been received the bath will be shipped.
How long does it take to produce an ice bath after ordering?
Currently, our lead times for ice bath production range between 8 to 10 weeks from the date of receiving the deposit. We prioritise prompt delivery while maintaining high-quality standards.
Do you ship internationally?
Currently, we only ship ice baths within Australia. We are working on expanding our shipping options to include international destinations. Please contact us for further information on international shipping availability.
How much does shipping cost?
To provide accurate shipping costs, please provide your address when ordering. Our team will offer a shipping quote, which can be paid the before dispatch.
Warranty & Returns:
What is the warranty period for your ice baths?
The structure of our ice baths is covered by a five-year warranty from the date of purchase. Parts and machinery components are covered for two years. Please note that labour and transportation costs for machinery and components are not covered in the second year. Consumable items like filter cartridges, ozone generators, and UV lamps are not covered due to regular replacement requirements.
Can I order replacement parts for my ice bath?
Absolutely! We offer a full parts shop where you can order components, filter cartridges, ozone generators, and UV lamps. This enables easy maintenance and ensures optimal performance of your ice bath.
Do you provide servicing and support for your ice baths?
Yes, we offer support for your ice bath. Our team of registered refrigeration technicians is available to assist with any questions or concerns. Simply contact info@fjordicebaths.com for prompt assistance. Please note that servicing is currently available in Southeast Queensland and Northeast New South Wales regions, subject to a service fee.

Yes, our technicians are ARC TIC certified, meeting the Australian Refrigeration Council's certification standards. This certification ensures that our ice baths are designed and manufactured to the highest Australian industry standards, ensuring quality and peace of mind.
How do you ensure the safety of your plug-in ice baths?
Safety is our top priority. All our fjord ice baths are equipped with RCD circuit breakers that shut down the unit in case of electrical leakage. Additionally, electrical installations and certifications are carried out by qualified electricians for added safety assurance.
